MEntity: Hello to you, Janet. We are here, now. We can begin.
Janet:
Hello Michael! It’s nice to “see” you again!
You told Geraldine that “Young Souls were moved to advance in a way that was isolating, at first, and this took them to the large continent that would be Atlantis.” In my last session, you said “Atlantis was a collection of islands with a central core island and these were quite close to Ireland.” This leads me to a theory that Atlantis was originally a large continent but over the thousands of years that the civilization existed, it was reduced to a collection of islands, perhaps due to geological disturbances. Would this be a valid theory?
Then, you told me of a life I had as a fisherman who lived near Dublin and traveled to Atlantis often, and you said that Newgrange was a popular location to host Atlanteans.
A number of us are curious about these locations on the east coast of Ireland in relation to Atlantis, since Great Britain is in such close proximity on that side. Some people are questioning how it would have been possible for a fisherman from that coast to visit Atlantis frequently unless one or more of the islands was very close. I think that we underestimate the technology available at the time, given what you told Geraldine about the Atlantean civilization. However, we also don’t know where Atlantis was in relation to Ireland.
Can you tell me the approximate boundaries of Atlantis in relation to current geography at the time of the fall? Approximately where was the island or islands from which survivors made it to Ireland when “I” participated in rescuing them?
Finally, for the sake of Geraldine’s timeline -- you said my life as a fisherman was about 35,000 years ago, and Geraldine has the fall of Atlantis at 35,000 BCE. So was my life then at 35,000 BCE, or were people still escaping from Atlantis 2,000 years after “the fall”?
MEntity:
Your theory is fairly correct. Atlantis was once a larger continent, but also a collection of land masses that stretched between what is known as Ireland and what is now the coast of Africa near the Western Sahara. Several geological events broke these masses up over time, leaving Atlantis with 3 primary locations, two closer together nearer to Ireland and one remaining in Western Sahara region. In what was known as "The Fall" of Atlantis, all land masses associated with Atlantis were destroyed or made to be uninhabitable.
In response to your next set of questions:
When we speak of "traveling frequently," it is relative to the modes of transportation at the time. Some transportation was quite speedy while others were slower, much like you have today. Traveling by boat was the slowest at the time and most dangerous, but Atlanteans had developed technology that would be quite difficult to explain in terms that are familiar to you now. For instance, they had developed a kind of technology that would allow for light to be shaped into a "solid" state and behave much like a laser. It could be pointed infinitely in any direction and then have carriers attached to it for transportation. There was no need for structures to secure the route along the way and it acted much like a "zip line" across the ocean to other locations.
These would have been ideal for evacuation routes, but this technology had been disrupted during the earlier earthquakes that had begun. This left only travel by boat or kites by the time the catastrophe had come.
Atlantis "proper" was approximately South West of Ireland, with a secondary location South of that, and then the third location in what is now the Western Sahara.
Because fast travel is taken for granted in your time, it can seem that a distance of hundreds or a couple of thousand miles was daunting in the past, but that distance was normal for the time. Most did not consider losing a week to travel to a distant location to be anything unusual. The light speed rails, if you will, allowed for much more convenient and speedy travel that was a matter of fewer than 24 hours to most locations, though those locations were select and few.
The Eastern part of Ireland happened to be where Atlanteans found the most intriguing mix of magic and sciences at the time, which is something that Atlanteans were obsessed with, in general.
Janet: So was there a “light speed rail” to the east coast of Ireland at one point?
MEntity:
It was not a matter of convenience, but a matter of resources that made that area popular. Other places were visited, of course, but not invested in so intimately.
There were two destinations from which to choose at the time, one near the South and one in the East.
The majority of survivors were coming from the most-Northern Atlantis, or Atlantis proper, that was closest to Ireland. These were survivors who had left early enough to have already been at least halfway to Ireland by boat or kite.
As for your discrepancy in terms of past life and timeline for Atlantis, we do have an issue through this channel of delivering a BCE date that can sometimes be received as a matter of "years ago." 35,000 years ago would likely have been meant as 35,000 BCE.
As there were no survivors still escaping 2000 years later, of course.
We think we have covered your questions.
Janet:
I read what you gave to Connor about the tsunami in the Sahara area. Were the boats on the way to Ireland affected by similar waves that might have swamped some boats? Lexi remembers being in the water at the fall of Atlantis, and until you told me she was rescued, she assumed she died.
Oh dear. I didn’t intend to send you off to the Akashic for Lexi’s records. lol
MEntity: Most of the tsunami effects moved North West and South East from the epicenter and chain of volcanic activity. Though other shores were also affected, those directions were hit the hardest.
Janet: Thank you. Unless you have more ready to pass on, I think I will switch gears with a new question.
MEntity: And, yes, the boats were overturned or swamped and all kites were knocked from the sky.
Janet_: Amazing.
MEntity: We can continue.
Janet:
Politics and the general upheaval in our democracy are still wearing me down, and I find that I am furious and frustrated much of the time. I’ve had some prompts from Essence: first, that what comes after this upheaval will be better, and also a reminder that frustration is the negative pole of the Moving Center.
Given our recent conversations about Atlantis, I remind myself that in the long term, the current situation is a mere hiccup. I think about how awful the destruction of Atlantis was -- at least I still have a continent to stand on. And I think about how far “I” have to go to return to Tao, and how the current scenario will be just a memory at some point.
However, I’m at a loss to know what to do with my life right now. It’s not healthy to just focus on the upheaval. Aside from the TLE books, I have nothing in my life that makes me feel productive, and that’s a real problem for me.
I pursued a job at Starbucks, and had the opportunity in my hand, but repeatedly something has stopped me from taking the steps needed to lock down the job. I have to conclude that I just don’t want that. However, I thought that a year out from ‘retirement’ I would have a better idea of what to “do” next.
Last night I had a thought -- perhaps from Essence -- that I am still in a breathing space preparing for what comes next. It seems a long breathing space, but perhaps it’s needed.
I have two recent dreams that I think are meant to inform me in some way, and I will ask about them, but first I’d appreciate your comments on my general state of mind as I just described it.
MEntity:
There are several angles and layers here for us to unpack. We will address each as we see them.
First, your prompts from Essence and your move to True Personality through listening to those prompts are Good Work. They are valid prompts that matter.
We do wish to say that while it is true that eventful matters may be put in perspective by looking at the greater scheme of things, it does not make those matters less pressing or overwhelming in the moment. For example, a person may one day be free of cancer, but the reality of having cancer cannot be ignored simply because one day it will not matter.
Janet: I agree. But it’s probably not a good idea to focus on nothing but the cancer.
MEntity:
Your current political and social climate are pressing and disturbing and overwhelming. One day it will all pass and from what we can see it passes toward greater unity and possibility, but knowing this does not reduce the necessity to participate while in it now. In fact, one of the only reasons why anything shows up as better in the future is because of how it was managed in its present.
You are correct. Neither focusing only on the cancer, or ignoring the cancer are effective or solutions. There must always be a spectrum to consider. One can treat one's cancer and supplement the day with as much joy as possible. One can watch and participate in the chaotic upheaval in politics and society and still find a great movie or book or conversation or creative project, etc.
There are times when such balance is nearly completely out of reach, such as during the Holocaust, but even then many found or created those cherished moments of joy amid such horror.
Our point being that you are correct in that you cannot focus only on the challenges and must include pleasure and joy even in the worst of times, if possible. It is your right and responsibility to do so.
If you are at a loss for what to do with your life right now, then that is what you are doing with your life right now. That is a thing, too. You have had a long momentum of patterns in your life and a very short moment to catch your breath and truly explore your options from a new perspective. This can be disorienting and disconcerting, but one year without a clear momentum is often the very minimum amount of time needed for recreating a life.
You are quite used to defining your life in terms of how useful you are, or how productive you are, and it can be compelling to aim for that same trajectory as a way to move forward, but you are looking at discovering or creating something different. You already have useful and productive down. You want to build upon that and expand upon that or use it is completely new ways. If you choose a practical and more mundane variation on being useful and productive just to keep your energy moving, that may be helpful, but it would be quite important to be clear that it is only to help keep your energy moving and not a final destination, in itself, such as working at Starbucks.
So, yes, you are still in that "breathing space" that is so important for your clarity in creating a new direction.
Janet:
Yes. I thought Starbucks might be useful as a method to get out of the house and meet people. But despite that, something in me resists that particular path.
I will give you one of my dreams.
Here is my log of my dream on September 12:
I saw a large rectangle of land that had been set aside for building houses. The land was mostly flat and dirt, cleared and ready for building. I was near the center of the area, on, near or hovering over a single plot that I was considering for my new home. It was sunny, and I saw Lexi in the next plot: she was excited that we were going to be neighbors.
I looked toward a corner of the cleared area -- I think the northeast corner -- and I saw several trees lining the street that edged the land. There were 2-3 large trees, and they were covered with yellow roses.
I loved the idea of having a house that looked out on the yellow rose trees. I found myself in a room on an upper floor in a future house, and it looked out on the yellow rose trees. The room was something like an art studio. The problem was that the room seemed dark.
So I shifted the whole house down toward the south -- one plot, then the next, then the next. I reached a point where now I could see the rose trees easily but there was more light. But it wasn’t just the new position of the house: the room now had windows on the other side of the room that faced toward the southwest. It not only gave lots more light, it opened a view to mountains in that direction.
I had some concern about whether this version of the house was actually allowed -- variations of the room appeared that had zero or one or two windows in that corner of the room, and one variation had an odd connecting angle to the corner -- it wasn’t just walls 90 degrees to each other.
I briefly considered Lexi, and thought that this house position was just fine because she would be in the house behind mine. I was satisfied with this house and location so long as I could get those windows with the mountain view, preferably including that odd angle.
### end of entry
This is not the first time yellow roses have appeared in my dream, and you have described some symbolic meanings previously, but their presence on tall trees is new. What suggestions do you have for what this dream is trying to tell me?
MEntity:
Starbucks is a hint, but not necessarily the destination. The environment is a bit more chaotic than you may wish for it to be if there are intentions for more social environment.
This looks to us to be an anxiety dream that is processing your move away from considering what is allowed, what is permitted, what is prescribed, and what is already in place, and moving toward moving things around, tweaking to your liking, considering the benefits of flexibility and compromise but also your boundaries for how much you are willing to be flexible and compromise. It is a dream that helps you to see that getting what you want does not always look like you expect it to look, and that stepping back to see from other distances and perspectives can actually open you to new input and light/insight.
These are insights that you are already well aware of, but your dreams can sometimes show you the poetry of your processes.
Do you have specific questions or further questions about the dream?
Janet: I find Lexi’s presence curious. Was her presence due to agreements we are still planning to pursue that require us to be near one another?
MEntity: Her presence is likely due to your seeing her as a kind of inspiration or model for ideas that you might want to implement.
Janet:
Then, in the time remaining, i will give you the second dream, that occurred the very next morning.
Because this dream included “Polynesian” people, I want to mention that last month in the days before the nexus I dreamed that I was a female Polynesian and a male “friend” murdered me, but I also saw this happen as a passerby. The scenario repeated, but I woke and removed myself from the scene before the man showed up to murder me.
9/13 dream log: (I have edited as much as I dare to avoid omitting important detail)
I was given four dogs to care for. They were medium large black dogs and they had the brown eyebrows typical of rottweilers. It was an honor to be allowed to care for these dogs, and because they were all very friendly, I didn’t mind that they were larger than I would have picked.
I decided to take the dogs aside one at a time to get to know them better and to name them.
The first dog I took aside I named “Fish”. It seemed that all the dogs were male but they had some feminine aspects. And they also had human aspects. As I took Fish away from the group I noticed an image of a male face with feminine features. ... I went to retrieve a second dog, and this one I named “Jones”. ... I told Emma that the next dog was going to be called “Gemini”, and I thought perhaps the fourth one wanted to be called “Bones”. ...
Then I was walking down the street in a city. (I feel the city was Chicago for some reason.) It was cold, there might have been some snow, and I wore a long heavy coat. Jones was walking with me. ...
As we walked down the street, I was sad that Jones had to be living so far north, in a cold place, so far away from his home. I pictured a tropical island far to the south of where we were. Jones was exuberantly friendly and happy. And Jones now kept turning into a young man. He was sturdy, with bronze skin and long curly black hair.
We passed a group of island people doing one of their native circle dances on this cold street. Jones as a young man rushed to join the dance. I too was tempted but I didn’t know the dance and I had to be somewhere else. As I walked away, Jones pulled out, concerned about doing the dance rather than walking with me. But I pushed him back into the mix and walked on. He joined me a little later.
Again as we walked down the cold street, we passed a group of island people doing a dance or ceremony. This was more elaborate, with people dancing and moving in and out of a large circular structure. At various points around the structure, on an upper level, there were bonfires, and I noted with some admiration that they had found a way to simulate bonfires using cloth and lights. We watched for a bit and then walked on.
Finally we came to an area set up for a very large celebration ritual, with seating all around a central area, some stages, possibly some musicians. I sat down to watch as Jones went up to the stage area and began his preparations for this ritual.
At this point I realized that all of the dogs had been specially trained for things like this. I was shown a photograph of a group of about 12 dogs, all with human faces, who appeared to be the training group. Jones and Fish had been chosen for this particular ritual and their faces were circled on the photograph.
Jones sometimes was a dog and sometimes a man, and finally he was a man who wore an oversized dog head made of paper mâché; I think it was blue. This was part of the ritual. He was back behind the scenes on a rear stage when he saw the queen arrive. She was a very large woman who was much beloved and Jones rushed to greet and hug her.
Then they started the ceremony. Jones had his dog head on but when the queen began doing her part of the ritual, Jones took his dog head off and began mimicking the queen, to roars of laughter. She turned and saw him, and she was amused as well, so she let him go as she continued the loud uproarious ritual.
## end of log
The dogs in this dream remind me of earlier dreams about which you said the dogs may represent Sirius. But why four, and what does it mean that I named each, and what is the connection with Polynesia?
MEntity:
This looks to be a dream that is focused on your current Support Group activity that is in effect for you. It is a reminder that you are not in this alone and that the non-physical support you have is valid and real with strategies and patterns that are aiming for outcomes. We think the four dogs generally represent parts of your more intimate support circle, but also represents how you are using the Axes of your own Personality (Action, Intellect, Emotion, and Assimilation).
The Polynesian setting is likely a reference to a shared setting that is most familiar to those in the dream, and/or is representing the exotic nature of your movement forward, as in your world now being utterly familiar and completely unfamiliar at the same time.
The Queen is you.
Janet:
lol — I often refer to myself jokingly as The QUEEN or The EMPRESS.
Hmm, so I wonder if the dogs I had less interaction represent the axes that I am not using as much or as well? Which axis does Jones represent?
MEntity: Jones looks to be representing your Intellect/Expression.
Janet:
Yes. I guessed that.
Last topic. As time permits:
Last week I had this OOBE: I was on the edge of sleep and noticed some funny lights in the room. I smiled to myself and thought, this seems like a dream event. In the next moment I found myself sitting on the edge of my bed, knowing that I was asleep but out of body. This time I was on the side of bed I don't normally get out of. I noticed my dog's kennel on that side of the room, and I thought, "Oh boy, this time I'm going to let Minx out while I explore."
So I struggled out of bed and went to the door of the kennel and began to unzip it. I spoke to Minx, asking if she wanted to get out. And as I spoke, I watched her: she looked at me opening the door and then turned her head. I thought, "She's looking at me still in bed asleep!" And at that instant, I found myself back in bed, waking from the experience.
My total lack of surprise at being out of body makes me think this happens to me more frequently than I remember. Is that true, and do you have suggestions for helping me to be more aware in the moment of the experience and to remember it?
MEntity:
It is true that you have more experiences than you remember. That is true of many individuals. One of the ways that one can trigger an awareness that can get anchored in waking memory is to designate a shared symbolic signal. In this case, it looks like the "funny lights" may be a good place to start. You need not do anything special to set this up beyond noting in your mind that if you see these you will "wake up" in your OOBE.
The rest is dependent upon biology.
Janet: What do you mean, dependent upon biology?
MEntity: In many cases your memory of these events is dependent upon the functioning of the brain. This means that if your brain "decides" to focus on other priorities such as worry, plans, the past, illness, etc., it can mean your memories of the OOBE are pushed back.
Janet: I see. Sometimes early morning thoughts push dream memories right out of my head, much to my frustration.
MEntity:
The more experience you have with remembering dreams, in general, however, the more likely you will sustain your recall, regardless of activity on the brain.
We will conclude here for today then. Good day to you, Janet. Goodbye, for now.
