Soul Age/Level: Baby 1, lives: 23

MEntity: The shift into 1st Level Baby came around the 3rd Intervention, or approximately 1.5 million years ago. The number of lives at this Level appear to have been 23. These lives were quite chaotic and often killed off rather early. Many who were incarnating at this time found themselves in similar patterns. Over a period of approximately 2000 years, the varying lines of species died out, and procreation slowed drastically. This was not only due to the fact that foodstuffs were toxic and hallucinogenic, but also because the lives were not long enough to allow for procreation. Efforts to store and manage foods, particularly fruits, led to unwitting effects of fermentation. This became highly addictive and while it may seem tragic that there were so many deaths and the near-extinction of the species, it was "a lot of fun." It took 23 lives for your Essence to move through that 1st Level. Several wandered off of cliffs, others impaled on branches, others fought to death, etc. Some were killed by animals with which the Personality tried to mate. Most of those 23 lives did not live beyond the age of 25.

Soul Age/Level: Baby 2, lives: 14

MEntity: By the time the 2nd Level came, it could be considered to have been the "hangover" period for that Soul Age. The Baby Soul paradigm was now taking root. The 2nd Level appears to have had 14 lives. Seeding of humans outside of Africa began by this time, but not on any obvious scale, as it began experimentally, and was not successful for several attempts. The successful variation was what would become known as the "antecessor." As an aside: the story of the "forbidden fruit" comes from this period in human history, as it became regarded as a dangerous and precarious time for the species, and this carried forward symbolically into a distortion of meaning many eons later.

MEntity: The story was part of how the Intervention helped to redirect the species away from the addictions. In those 2nd Level Baby lives, your Essence underwent a shift toward quite serious and controlling avenues as a result of concern for the survival of the species. Your Essence, along with many others, got the idea that controlling access to foodstuff was key to survival and order. To some extent this was true, but those lives went to extremes, causing more trouble than solution. Punishments were inflicted on anyone caught eating outside of designated times, areas, and approved foods. The hoarding of foods had stopped, so this required a great amount of effort for establishing a kind of food police force. Several of those 14 lives were killed by someone starving, or they killed someone through nutrition-related conditions. This Level lasted over approximately 5000 years. Keep in mind that things did not change as rapidly among humans as they seem to in this current time frame with which you are familiar. A lifetime could end in one century and Essence could come back in another to find the same conditions into which to be born. The momentum of rush and urgency did not begin until the mid to late Young Paradigm.

Soul Age/Level: Baby 3, lives: 9

MEntity: The 3rd Level came around the time that conditions of control over foods had come to such an extreme, that revolts were beginning to surge in the consciousness. For while Baby Souls aim for order, they do so for a very real reason: they can "snap" at any moment. This is not to say all Baby Souls live as powder kegs of potential explosion, but rather that there tends to be a great deal of internal conflict being resolved about the appeal of order and the momentum of Infant lives that paid no attention to such civilities. Those lifetimes at the 3rd Level lay fairly low from the main dynamic of order vs chaos at the time. The lives across the 1st and 2nd Levels were still being processed across that 3rd Level. It appears there were 9 lives across that Level. Most of these were subjected to the same order that the previous lifetimes has established as order around food rations and control, so it was a period of time for experiencing the other side of that dynamic. There was a great wave of resignation to this dynamic among most, but (as mentioned earlier) there were pockets of fragments generating passions for revolt. Those 9 lives focused mainly on contemplation, submission, and simply living within the confines of the order at the time, perfectly content. This may not seem challenging, but it was quite a break in routine from previous lives, so it was quite enlightening. The practice of order and discipline was more internal.

Soul Age/Level: Baby 4, lives: 21

MEntity: Approximately 5000 years later, the shift toward the 4th Level came. Three major events began around this time for humans. The successful stabilization of the seeding in South America and Europe, the amplification of curiosity that led to nomadism as a form of creativity and exploration rather than as a form of survival, and the first revolts in Africa. The 4th Level appears to have had 21 lives over a 100,000 year period. The first revolts came when several tribes' conditions for food control were simply intolerable, and the idea for the revolt was to not simply rise up against the policing forces, but to turn them into resources for food. This was the first time cannibalism came into being. This idea for cannibalism was, ironically, still within the aim of a Baby Soul learning about Order. To merely kill off the policing forces would be chaos, but to harvest them as foods, the very thing that was causing the revolts, seemed to make perfect sense. These revolts rose slowly in implementation, as one tribe managed to try, fail, try, fail, eventually succeed. Once there was a kind of established model for success, the strategies spread. These revolts took nearly 500 years to fully implement. After the 4th or 5th lifetime amid this, your Essence expanded into the new offering of stable lifetimes beyond Africa. Concurrents were used to keep at least one life in Africa, even as explorations in Europe and South America began. Many of us who lived lives among the antecessor line of humans have fond and nostalgic memories, as those were adventurous and exciting times in a line that was, for all practical purposes, doomed from the beginning as a transitional variation. It was also our first experiences of "human" in a way that would help define the species overall for the eons to come. For Personalities, the latest greatest model of an Apple Device may be exciting, but for Essence, a new model of Human brings great excitement and eagerness. So the 4th Level began its transition out of Africa by wrapping up projects with fragments still incarnating in that area, but quickly halted incarnations as the cannibalism wave grew. The transition from the contemplative lives to the more awakening, exciting lives in new territories was fairly seamless. These 21 lives would bring great experiences to Essence as emphasis on food shifted toward creativity and fair distribution and proper storage. A great break was taken between the 4th and 5th Levels, with a return to incarnations just before the pandemic struck at about 1 million years ago.

Soul Age/Level: Baby 5, lives: 9

MEntity: The 5th Level was a return to incarnation after a long break in the cycle. That "time" between incarnations was used for help in integrating previous Levels and Soul Ages, and anticipating upcoming probabilities and potential for the end of the Soul Age. Besides those elements of study, it was simply a time of rest and play. The 5th Level incarnations began just before the upcoming pandemic, relatively speaking, and those lives were "a lot of fun." All lives within the 5th Level were lived before the pandemic was of any significance to a Personality, so it was not until the 6th Level that the impact was taken on directly. Those lives were spent with themes heavily focused on communal living and community member contribution, expanding on the effectiveness of this through mediation and management. These lives tended to move among the great coastal cities that had emerged by this time, sharing methods for societal structures that not only benefited the links among the cities, but the members within each city, as well. And then the pandemic began to break. This was devastating to the sense of a "golden age" of population and resources, as both began to collapse quite rapidly. We think this was a result of a bacteria that not only destroyed food sources, but infected the respiratory systems and spread rapidly. As modern civilizations, we had not had to tend to this on any meaningful scale before. This was not a simple bacterial issue, but an outbreak that morphed quickly into several forms that affected the bodies in several ways that today would appear to be many different illnesses at once. The primary medium for the spread came from the breakdown in the waste management systems. As each location came to break down, the bacteria spread into the water supplies for both food and people.

Soul Age/Level: Baby 6, lives: 11

MEntity: The 6th Level of this Soul Age appears to have been one of the most difficult of all spans of lifetimes. The pandemic had taken its toll so incarnations would deal with this for several lives. Not since the transfer from Sirius had our species experienced such a sense of devastating loss and instability. Your incarnations, then, started off in themes around wandering. Literally. The early incarnations here wandered as soon as mobility was developed, wandering off a cliff, wandering into a tar pit, wandering into carnivorous den.

MEntity: Because the fragments with whom your Essence shared Ribbons were slow to return to incarnation, the early part of the 6th Level were fairly aimless, exploring Flow. Goals are often explored in those early incarnations in quite literal ways. Eventually you wandered into the path of the Infinite Soul who was inspiring a rekindling of humanity through the use of better food cultivation and storage, and the importance of sound. This was a return of not only the Infinite Soul, but of our caretaking species, with one as host for that Infinite Soul. The impact of reunion was profound and inspiring. It would be many thousands of years before composition and use of instruments in any organized way was brought to the species for creating music and song, but the emphasis on sound by Kr was the beginning. We were encouraged to listen to other animals, other creatures, insects, in a new way, to hear how they were communicating, expressing, and alive, even if unseen. Making sound for the sake of sound. This is not to say that we had not already developed language and arts, particularly in pockets about the species, but that this listening and making sound in the wake of devastation was vital. With the devastation, much of the arts were lost, and much of the sound that had been taken for granted. In the wake of this pandemic, the world was experienced as if existing in a vacuum, in silence. Muted and alone. The return on the caretaker species and the Manifestation in Kr was like waking up and hearing birds again, so to speak. The pivotal lifetime that took one of your Essence's Personalities from wandering to pondering was when the wind across the hollow branches of a tree first groaned in song. Or, rather, first were heard as such. This particular lifetime then carried a branch that could be swung so that sound could be generated when swung. Others were discovering sound in similar ways because of Kr. This is when it was also discovered that there were growing pockets of population in hiding that were then drawn out and together because of sound. And this is how you found your fellow fragments with whom Ribbons could be burned. These Ribbons were burned by sharing what had been learned from Kr about food cultivation and storage. For the most part, the Ribbons burned were not through reciprocation of violence or reciprocation of interference of choice, but through the recovery of choice for those who had come to be restricted in choices. With the wandering and pondering, the burning of most Ribbons completed, and a revitalized enthusiasm for life, the species, and you, moved forward. Your Essence moved into the 7th Level then.

Soul Age/Level: Baby 7, lives: 10

MEntity: In contrast to the 6th Level with all of its emphasis on recovery and renewing vitality for the species, the 7th Level here was a kind of Golden Age of lifetimes. Your lifetimes were much longer and fewer during this Age, moving through the 7th Level in a handful of lives.  The teaching here took the form of cooking, singing, celebration, and evolving organization of sound paralleled by a return to a heightened social order. These lifetimes appear to have been on the outskirts of organized civilizations that were benefited by these more creative and unusual pockets of fragments on the outskirts. Between the 6th and 7th Levels of incarnation, there had come to be an Intervention that built upon the recovery after Kr's influences. These biological "upgrades" were new to most fragments, but to those who had endured the incarnations across the recovery were privy to the benefits of song, and many because the teachers of that movement. These lives at 7th Level, then, were about helping to make better use of these new expansions of a sense.
