0526 Walking Upright (2nd Intervention)

MEntity: Hello to you, Connor. We are here, now. We can begin.

Connor: Hello again, Michael!

Let’s talk about the Second Intervention.

Three million years ago, the Caretakers implemented an Intervention which lasted approximately 2,000 years and resulted in Humans walking permanently upright with ease. It also unleashed waves of rampant crossbreeding which continued for the next million years, giving rise to strange, short-lived lines which are remembered today as various mythological creatures.

It is worth noting that the 2nd Intervention took place roughly one million years before Khro’Te prompted the rekindling of Caretakers’ empathy and affection for Humans. In other words, Caretakers from three million years ago were perfectly willing to use tactics which future generations likely considered unethical.

For example, you have described how Caretakers burned the palms of Human hands in a way that caused pain if hands were used for mobility, forcing us to come down from the trees and start walking upright. You also said the Caretakers used the non-Sentient Australopithecus genus as a source for DNA because Australopiths were already walking upright. Somehow, the Caretakers’ experiments proved devastating to Australopithecus, and you said it eventually led to that genus’s extinction.

Whoops.

Question ONE: Most other major Interventions happened when Humans faced extinction, but I haven’t found any records of an extinction scare at 3,000,000 BCE. On the other hand, if there was no extinction scare, it seems a bit odd that Caretakers would go through the trouble of implementing a 2,000-year-long Intervention solely because we weren’t yet walking upright. Can you explain why the 2nd Intervention was necessary?

Question TWO: HOW and WHERE did the Caretakers implement the 2nd Intervention?

Question THREE: If my Essence has a past life who experienced the 2nd Intervention, can you please describe my experience of the event?

Question FOUR: I have a feeling this is one of the most controversial Interventions, considering the collateral damage to Australopithecus as well as the subsequent million years of rampant crossbreeding. How do modern Caretakers feel about the 2nd Intervention?

MEntity:

We are compiling a response.

In response to ONE: That "intervention" was a product of the mindset at the time. Caretakers walked upright therefore, it was reasoned, Humans could be helped along in their development by walking upright. This was mostly fueled by the reality of the history of humans that went back all the way into Sirius. Humans had been seen as such a nuisance in the past in ways that led to a rare and painful and deadly war, that the logic was that if humans could walk upright, they may be more like their peer species.

Independently mobile species with little to no limbs or with all limbs dedicated to that mobility often lack the line of development toward innovation and creativity and problem solving. This is quite acceptable in many sentient species who prefer lines of development in other directions or who do not face threats such as other species, or environment, but Caretakers saw an opportunity to help us gain better footing in our new world and to help future-proof us by our developing innovations and solutions through creativity.

Thus, the "intervention."

A growing resentment at the time had begun, of course, after so many years of "watching over us" that it was determined this was the only way to get us into a position to care for ourselves without so much monitoring.

In response to TWO: These experiments and this intervention phase would have been around what is known now as Ethiopia and was implemented through something that could be considered "DNA therapy" that can alter the genetics and the genetic memories (Instincts) of an individual to access lines of development that are from another similar species.

This would be implemented in pregnancies.

This was much more practical and ethical than harming individuals to encourage new behaviors.

In response to THREE: There were lives in this phase, but they were not of any note in terms of realization of any alterations in evolution. There were very few among us who had any realization of the implementations at the time.

In response to FOUR: This remains a touchy subject to this day among Caretakers and other Sentient species, alike. This intervention is considered to have been wholly unnecessary and one that caused more harm than good as Humans took to having such freedom of mobility and tool-using hands by amplifying the worst in themselves. This continues through to today and is one of the reasons Humans have been kept in the dark regarding their social standing across the galaxy.

The irony is that Humans were certainly made to be more resilient and durable through the worst of threats to extinction, but we have become the threat to ourselves and to the rest of the world in ways that were unexpected.

If the Human Mature Soul shift does not implement conscious responsibility across the species and soul ages, our species will end itself rapidly and will have taken an accumulation of uncountable lives and species of Earth by the end.

This makes Caretakers quite nervous and unsettled because all of the warring that came in response to their helping us will have proven meaningless and Caretakers may be ostracized for their part in defying the culling of our species. In other words, Humans will have proven that the Pleiadians were more visionary and clear in their assessment.

This flipping of history will have massive consequences.

Connor: Wow.

MEntity:

We have not found a parallel or probability where this occurs, but it remains a possibility.

We must conclude here for today. Good day to you. Goodbye, for now.

Connor: Amazing work, Michael and Troy! Thank you!

************

All of the major Caretaker Interventions have now received their own dedicated session. There is already a fair amount of channeling about this Intervention, which is why I addressed it last. If you want the fuller story of this event, check out the Our Origins chapter titled "Stand Up" to access all the other material.

I've always had a feeling the 2nd Intervention was considered unnecessary by many. The First Intervention was implemented as a last resort because the only alternative was Human extinction. Three million years later, I can imagine how many in Sirius likely criticized, resisted, and protested the 2nd Intervention because it was nothing like the 1st. Although the 2nd Intervention was impactful and helpful, it was also as I suspected: completely unnecessary. When Caretakers in 1,500,000 BCE debated whether or not to implement the 3rd Intervention, they no doubt had to overcome voices of opposition who feared a repeat of the controversial 2nd Intervention.

I always love when Michael is able to tie these explorations to what is happening today, and I was not expecting that last part. Some of these intervention stories are almost like fables, with a moral or cautionary message. It had never occurred to me that even after everything that has happened over the last six million years, it is possible the Pleiadians could be 'vindicated' for trying to exterminate us at the beginning. Thankfully, this does not seem likely to happen, but it was still an eye-opening thing to read.

In other words, if we don't get our shit together, our warring and the extent to which we destroy Earth's life along with ourselves may serve as justification for other Sentient species to treat troublesome new Sentience (or non-Sentient life) the same way the Pleiadians did. Species-wide extermination could become more commonplace. And 'justified'. Humans would become Exhibit A for anyone arguing to extinguish a species.

It is difficult to fathom.
