A quick review of your 2013 could be described as having a KEY THEME in INTIMACY. The terms we use in "retrospect" tend to be evolved from those we use to describe the probability patterns in advance. Intimacy appears to have come from the probabilities of Desire.

This means that 2013 may have turned into a navigation that was generated from following your impulses, even your compulsions, and leading you through territories that showcased your sense of trust, both internally and externally.

If you were to look back over 2013, a dominant thread would be found in following your heart, your impulses, and even compulsion, into unknown territory, into experiences that relied entirely on trust, all as a way to move further into Intimacy.

As the year came to a close, the combination of explorations into trust and Intimacy would have likely moved you into some version of SAFETY. True Safety is that combination of Trust and Intimacy, but there may have also come a quick return to old patterns of familiarity that simply felt "safe."

So as 2014 unfolds, we see the KEY THEME as being the evolution of last year's theme, launching you into a KEY THEME of TRUE SAFETY.

The themes this year would tend to move you through probabilities that build upon your sense of confidence, your sense of trust, your embrace of intimacy. This is would come as a kind of calm maneuvering through the choices and actions of the year with a "knowing" that even a misstep can have a recovery.

In a year with a theme of True Safety, there would tend to be a potential for returning to old patterns that felt "safe," or potential for retreat into familiarity that removes you from the equation of challenges that rely on your confidence and trust.

As your year unfolds, it can be helpful for you in those instances when you may feel retreat, or feel a sense of need to pull yourself from any equations of challenge, unfamiliarity, risk, etc. that would depend on your sense of trust, confidence, and knowing, that you pause before taking action or making a choice.

In those moments, it will be helpful for you to call upon your sense of trust, intimacy, confidence, and make your choice, take action, from there. This is not to say that retreat or a move away from risk is not a choice that supports True Safety, but that if you make that choice consciously, it helps to keep your calm, centered confidence alive and well.

You do not always have to take a risk. You do not always have to move into unfamiliar territory. If you choose not to go in those directions, and it is your conscious choice, it is a choice that supports your trust. Likewise, the return to familiar territory is not immediately a sign of rejecting your confidence, or a fall into false safety, unless it is a result of reaction, or inaction, or avoidance.

In any case where you may have reacted, or fallen into inaction, or distrust, you can always recover. You know this now. That is what Trust is. It is based in experience, not blindness.
