We can describe your Platform for the 2014 Cycle as AUTHENTICITY.

We think this Platform is of emphasis because of the rising sensitivity of your sense of re-creation of yourself in your adulthood.

This process of re-creation is one that is freeing you of old ideas about what you could have been, what you should have been, and what you could be or should be, and moving on toward what you ARE.

This process can feel a bit like grieving as one explores these ideal facets, and romanticized versions of the self, but the aim is not to insult yourself, but to embrace where you are so that you can build and create FROM there.

All too often the approach to one's Being is from a place of comparison to the past or future, but as one matures, this moves more and more into an authentic space of the moment.

The INSIGHT from this Platform, if you choose to share in it as Essence will be exploring it, would be more about the gratitude, the appreciation, the joy that is potential in every moment, in yourself, as the new foundation for how to build and create, rather than some vague past or future comparative.

The PATTERN over this Cycle would likely start out as you have already described to Troy, in that there is a grieving of ideals, romanticism, and a wave of comparisons that feel as if it is emphasizing what you could or should be. But what this is actually about is your seeing all of the potential that still remains, and you get to see if these are still of any interest to you from where you are.

So as 2014 Cycle unfolds, you may begin to focus on a direction of interest, and it will likely be one that really matters to you. Not one that you depend upon for defining your worth, your value, or your purpose, but one that matters to you.

This is Authenticity.

A KEY PHRASE for this Cycle might be: WHO I AM IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT WHO I AM.

By this we mean that it matters that you care about your contributions, your meaning, your aspirations, but it also matters how you feel about yourself in your pursuit and definitions of these things.

If you pursue them out of shame for missed opportunities, then the current opportunity is built out of that. If you pursue them out of inspiration that is relevant for you now, because that is who and where you are now, then you are building and creating from a place of authenticity, not shame.

Our suggestions are built in to the range of "authenticity". In other words, it would only have to be of interest and meaning to you. Any specific suggestions from us would interfere with that authenticity.
