Dr. Michael Greger has been my go-to person for nutrition information since 2015 because he goes straight to the science and explains what the research actually says without exaggeration, theories, or salesmanship. He runs a non-profit and donates all profits from his books to charity--a rarity in the diet/nutrition space. He's also hilarious and has so much passion for the information, and he taught me a lot about discerning good and bad research.
