Family Goings On

Private Session

July 27, 2018

Family has been on my mind recently.  I don't really have all that much interaction with them except for my sister and she usually keeps me up to date as far as the goings on.  Her being able to talk to me also works in her favor as a sort of pressure relief valve for what she has to endure as far as the drama goes.   But what I've noticed is that I will get sort of obsessive with them and have found that it is usually tied to the fact that there is some sort of drama going on as if I'm picking up on it psychically since I'm not there in person.  I've previously posted in other blogs about Nikki and Nick and Carson.

Nikki and Nick have been going back and forth with breaking up and getting back together so many times now, I've lost count.  And I've come to learn that Nick has also been involved with heroin which greatly concerns me especially since Michael has talk about the Pivotal/Facilitator agreement with him and what might invoke that.  So for some hopeful peace of mind, I wanted to inquire about the family dynamics here and see if there is something that I could learn about that that might help me better in my own understanding and compassion for them.

Bobby:

Today, I also wanted to ask about my niece-Nikki and nephew-in-law Nick and their relationship.  They fight constantly.  He's using drugs, heroin, rather frequently so it appears that he's looking for an escape of sorts.  When they quarrel, Nikki eventually kicks Nick out and then at some point she takes him back.

So I wanted to ask if you have any insight that may help explain their cyclical behaviors.  Specifically, why is it that Nikki seems to not be able to cut her ties with Nick.  And what is it about the drugs that has Nick hooked. Is there something he's trying to escape?

And as far as their son Carson is concerned, have their behaviors already likely caused some longer term harm/wounding that he will have to contend with as he gets older?

MEntity:

From what we can see, this relationship has moved into a Passionate/Repressed Monad, with Nikki being Passionate and Nick being Repressed. Monads are not always intense, but are often intense and inexplicably binding and compelling.

The cycles are simply the cycling through of various layers being worked out regarding Passion and Repression.

Bobby: What is he repressing?

MEntity:

Without violating his vulnerabilities, we can say that his repression is of his emotions as they relate to his self-worth. He is drowning in self-loathing and seeks to inhibit the emotions that he generates as a byproduct of that self-loathing.

The drugs help to repress the feelings that he fears would destroy him, ironically.

These cycles between them will have to work out between them. We do not think they can be interrupted without force.

As for Carson, of course there is harm and wounding. He is fairly resilient, but will have to work out this imprinting at some point.

Bobby: Are you able to see perhaps how this sort of imprinting will impact him unless worked out?

MEntity:

Primary caretakers in extreme conflict can create inner conflicts regarding how to care for the self and another. It creates a conflict that provokes the individual to either choose between the two methods of self-care or use one method for the self and one for how to care for another.

So one might be reckless and passionate in self-care, but wish to control and repress someone close to him

Or controlling and repressing of self while being attracted to reckless and passionate.

This is not the only effects on the child, but it may show up as a theme.

A self-karmic theme that must be reconciled.

Bobby: Ok, thank you very much for this information. I think it will be helpful in understanding things going forward.

Not just because of this information that came from a longer session but also because of other information gathered in that greater session, I asked for a message from Essence.  I can easily see how the message given relates to both situations and even on a more broader scale as far as life in general.

Bobby: If there's time, I feel the need for a message from Essence today

MEntity: MESSAGE: WATCHING FROM A DISTANCE DOES NOT PROTECT YOU FROM WHAT YOU SEE

Bobby: Thank you again for your time and the information provided. Let's now return Troy to his body for some much needed rest

MEntity: We will conclude here, then. Good day to you, Bobby. Goodbye, for now.

Carson had really been on my mind lately so I think that really was the prompt that caused me to ask about this.  I mean, Nikki and Nick are adults, even if they don't act like it at times, and so are fully capable of dealing with their own shit but Carson is caught in the cross-fire so to speak and I was worrying about how all of this would affect him now or later even.  He is fortunate in many ways because he is kept for a great part of the day by my parents while Nikki works from home so his exposure to that helps reduce his exposure to some of the drama.  Also, to help give NIkki a break, my sister keeps Carson on Saturday and into part of the day on Sunday.  He is very loved but that often isn't enough when exposed to such damaging behavior by his parents.

At this point since I'm not being heard by either Nikki or Nick, I don't know if I will be able to help by using any of the information here directly or if it will have to simply be used indirectly by me from simply knowing of the greater issues at play here and how I may be able to show more understanding when it comes to their antics.
