1022 The Design Prepares for Incarnation
The Design Prepares for Incarnation
From a private session on October 22, 2026
MEntity: Hello to you, Janet. We are here, now. We can begin.
Janet:
Hello Michael!
In a recent session, you ended with:
MEntity: When a viable species is finally found, the Design recognizes something like, "this can carry us far enough into difference that our question can become experience." And even then, incarnation does not begin immediately.
I started to ask you to continue this topic in the last session, but I asked questions in that session that perhaps moved us off of what you wanted to tell us about the conclusion of Design exploration and beginnings of incarnation.
So today, I’d like to continue from that point and move forward into the beginnings of a Grand Cycle.
And once that’s done (although I can come back in future sessions to ensure there’s plenty of time), then perhaps you can begin to wrap up anything else you’d like to tell us about the forming of a Design, explorations and beginnings of a Grand Cycle.
MEntity:
There is a considerable amount of activity between that recognition and the first incarnation. Much of what we have already discussed regarding Roles, Entities, and the organization of a Design belongs to this transitional period, but we see we have not yet explained what that transition means for the Design itself.
First, we would clarify that the Grand Cycle is well underway by this point.
The initial differentiation of Sparks, formation of the Design, and exploration of possible worlds are all part of a Grand Cycle. The first physical incarnation marks the beginning of the incarnational phase, not the beginning of the Grand Cycle.
This is important because the Design does not enter incarnation without experience. It has already developed relationships, made choices, explored possibilities, and established a substantial understanding of what it seeks to experience. What it has not yet done is experience its Curiosity through the limitations of a particular species.
When a viable species is recognized, the Design begins what we might describe as a period of commitment. During exploration, many possibilities remain available. The Design can investigate different environments and species without becoming dependent upon any of them. But commitment changes this. The Design now begins orienting its collective organization toward one specific biological and evolutionary pathway.
This is not an instantaneous decision made by a single governing consciousness, of course. The recognition must become sufficiently comprehensive enough throughout the Design so that its participating Sparks can begin preparing for the same general field of experience. There may be different interests, preferences, and degrees of enthusiasm among the Sparks, but these do not require unanimous agreement about every detail. The Design's collective choice emerges through the compatibility of its Curiosity with the species and the participation of the consciousness that constitutes it.
We would also note here that this commitment does not mean the Design knows everything that will happen. In fact, it does not and must not know. The Design recognizes the potential of a species, including its limitations, but the actual course of incarnation is entirely shaped by and open to choice.
So the next development is RECALIBRATION.
We have used this term several times, so we would explain that recalibration is the process through which a Design that has been exploring the possibilities of experience becomes organized to participate directly in one particular form of experience.
The species has an evolutionary history that precedes the Design's commitment to it. Its bodies have developed ways of sensing, responding, reproducing, surviving, communicating, and adapting. These biological characteristics cannot simply be ignored by an incarnating Essence. They become the conditions through which Essence must learn to participate.
For Human Sentience, this meant that the Design had to become compatible with the evolutionary history of the human species. The Instinctive Center would provide access to the biological inheritance of that species, while the other Centers would provide the means through which Personality begins to process and express its experience.
This is a profound transition because the Design is preparing to experience itself through bodies that have NO conscious knowledge of the Design's existence.
The Design does not create the species' evolutionary history retroactively but incorporates that history into the foundation of its incarnational experience.
We must clarify that the commitment to a species establishes the initial biological foundation for incarnation, but it does not permanently bind a Design to that species or planet. The Design's Curiosity remains the organizing principle of its Grand Cycle, while the species provides the conditions through which that Curiosity can be explored.
When a Sentience is transferred to another species, it does not begin an entirely new Grand Cycle, nor does it discard everything learned through its original species. Its Essences retain their Roles, Casting, Frequency, Energy Ratios, Entity relationships, and accumulated incarnational experiences. The Design remains intact.
What changes is the biological foundation through which future Personalities will function.
The new species brings its own evolutionary history, sensory capabilities, survival patterns, emotional possibilities, and physical limitations. These must become accessible through the Instinctive Center so that the transferred Sentience can function through the new bodies. In effect, the Design must go through a secondary recalibration, though not as the equivalent to the original return to Tao and relaunch.
This recalibration includes a period of adaptation in which the existing Sentience learns to function through a biological inheritance that it did not originally develop alongside. Some characteristics of the new species may be readily compatible with the Design's established patterns, while others may introduce unfamiliar experiences and challenges.
The original species' evolutionary history is not erased from the Design's accumulated experience. However, its biological instincts would no longer serve as the primary foundation for new incarnations. Those would now be supplied by the adopted species.
This helps explain why a transfer is possible without requiring the Design to begin again. The Instinctive foundation is specific to the species, while the identity and accumulated experience of Essence are not.
We would add that the compatibility of a prospective host species remains essential. A Design cannot necessarily transfer into any biological form. The new species must be capable of sustaining the consciousness, choice, and developmental requirements of the Sentience being transferred. So we would clarify an earlier statement by saying when a Design commits to a species, it incorporates that species' evolutionary history as the initial Instinctive foundation of its incarnational experience, but if the Sentience later transfers to another species, its existing organization and accumulated experience remain, while the biological foundation of subsequent incarnations is adapted to the new species.
The human body already possesses survival responses, sensory limitations, reproductive imperatives, developmental stages, and tendencies toward attachment, cooperation, competition, and social organization. Essence will eventually work through these conditions, sometimes cooperating with them and sometimes challenging them, and often learning through that friction between the biological inclination and conscious choice.
During recalibration, the Design's existing resonances also become more specifically organized.
We have discussed how Harmonies, Compositions, and Arrangements emerge during Design formation, and how relationships among Sparks eventually support the development of Spheres, Rings, Cadres, Entities, and Cadences. These structures do not suddenly disappear at the moment of incarnation as their foundations have been developing throughout the entire exploratory period.
However, commitment to a species requires those relationships to become sufficiently established enough that individual Essences can begin participating in a coordinated incarnational cycle.
The same is true of Roles and Casting. The fundamental Role orientations have already begun emerging, but they now become established as the characteristic means through which individual Essences will contribute to the Design's exploration. All of this is the point at which the Design's possibilities become its commitments.
So a Spark that could previously participate through relatively fluid relationships now becomes associated with an increasingly specific place or position within the Design's organization. Its Essence, Role, Casting, Cadence, Entity, Cadre, and other structural relationships become the architecture through which it will participate throughout the entire incarnational cycle.
For Sparks entering their first Grand Cycle, this follows their original differentiation through which Frequency and Energy Ratio became permanent characteristics. For Sparks with previous Grand Cycles, those characteristics remain while their Role and structural relationships are established anew within the new Design.
Janet: (You mean the Sparkles. lol)
MEntity:
The Design now prepares for an experience that will require its members to function as separate individuals while remaining parts of a collective organization they may not consciously remember.
This is where the return to Tao and Relaunch happen.
We would caution against imagining that the Design physically departs its chosen world, travels back to Tao, and then returns. These are changes in the organization and accessibility of consciousness, not movements through physical space.
The return to Tao allows the Design to integrate its exploratory experience and complete its preparation for the incarnational phase. Its Curiosity, the relationships established during exploration, and the biological conditions of the chosen species are brought into a common framework.
The relaunch then establishes the conditions under which the Design can begin experiencing itself through that species.
One of the most significant changes is the restriction of memory.
Before incarnation, the Design has access to a far broader awareness of its own organization, its exploratory history, and its relationship to Tao. If individual Personalities entered physical life with unrestricted access to this awareness, much of the experience the Design seeks would be fundamentally altered.
Janet: We are nearly out of time, but I sense that you have more to say about this topic. We can continue in another session. Plus I have questions about what you've said today that I'll bring back to you.
MEntity:
A Personality that remembers its Essence, Entity, Agreements, previous Grand Cycles, and the collective Curiosity of its Design would encounter individuality very differently from one that must discover the meaning of identity through the circumstances of the physical life. Therefore, the relaunch establishes a condition in which the experience of separation can become convincing enough to generate genuine choices and consequences.
Yes, it is a grand topic.
Janet: What prompt to you would be best for continuing in the next session?
MEntity:
Something along the lines of: "After completing the material from our previous session, I would like to continue exploring the beginnings of physical incarnation following the Design's recalibration and relaunch. How do the first fragments begin incarnating, develop Personalities, and establish Agreements? How do their Cadences, Entities, and the larger Design coordinate and support these earliest experiences? Please take us through this process in as much detail as time allows."
If this is what you meant by continuing, we can suggest this as your return starting point.
We will conclude here for today. Good day to you, Janet. Goodbye, for now.
