2024/10/19 - Ternary, Quaternary and Quinary Paradigms

Had a session with Nick/Babylove on October 19th. I thank him for the session, and always enjoy them. I asked about further information on some of the Paradigms. Hopefully it can help you all understand them a bit better!

Note from Archivist: The TLE Library is primarily an archive of sessions channeled by Troy Tolley, and all work presented here should be assumed to be channeled by Troy unless a note like this one is included.

Babylove (aka Nick Sweeney) was mentored by Troy, and participates in the TLE Community as a student. We have elected to post sessions channeled by Nick in this library if shared within TLE because these sessions often continue conversations begun with a session channeled by Troy or vice versa. Other content channeled by Nick may be found by searching for ChannelNS.

Kurtis:

Hi Michael and Nick, long time no see.

For today’s session I wanted to split it in two parts: first based around Paradigms, second on my life transitions.

PARADIGMS

Question 1: You have said that between the Quaternary (Information-based) and Septenary (Evolutionary-based) Paradigms is the Quinary Paradigm. I would like you to tell me what concepts and experiences and worldviews are a part of the Quinary.

Question 2: You have said that the Ternary Paradigm has a theme of exploring Neutrality (experiences that are both positive and negative) and Reconciliation of Conflicts, both by taking actions to negotiate Resolutions and being a space for Advocacy and Representation of those in need of a voice or support. You have also told me that Parallel Processing and Non-linear Reality are other concepts that can be seen in the Ternary. Can you tell me more fundamental concepts that are experienced in the Ternary?

Question 3: You have said that the Quaternary Paradigm loses investment in Conflicts and sees these as Invitations to learn. It responds to life as Information that helps one make choices. Can you tell me more fundamental concepts that are experienced at Quaternary?

Question 4: I feel like in my life now I largely respond to it from a Quaternary perspective. I am far less reactionary and far more informed. I feel like I have worked through most of my Binary hangups, and am continuing to process the Ternary especially in relationships. Is this true, and does this mean that different parts of our lives can be hooked into different paradigms? I’m looking for a way to map the parts of our lives that transition through these. Is there a set of 7 life domains or such that each advance through the Paradigms? For example, relationships being one, self-perception another etc.

Babylove/Michael:

One moment as we begin to compile and deliver our responses.

1) These paradigms can be better understood through the correlations of their corresponding numbers in our system of overleaves. For example, the 1st paradigm relating to the number 1 or -simplicity/+purpose and the server, for example. So, the Quinary paradigm has much in common with the number 5/-adventure/+expansion/Sage and so on. This paradigm is very much about "shock" in many ways. And PARADOX. It is about moving beyond what is known or thought to be known. It is about seeing beyond and moving beyond expectation. This paradigm stretches the boundaries of "reality," so to speak. And it consistently raises the question "What is true?" When operating from this paradigm, one is freeing themselves from the known and the past in such a way as to reorient to what can be known NOW through EXPERIENCE. And it is understood that all experience can fulfill the necessity for expansion. CHOICE begins to be utilized with an experimental edge and a kind of "let's see what happens" approach. This is a paradigm where JOY can be "found" in the most unlikely of places. But it is also a paradigm where extremes of experience can uplift or "scatter". We can say more, of course, but we will move on to your next question.

Ternary: 3/+enterprise/-versatility/warrior. One concept that might help to understand this paradigm is that of FOCUS. Another word for focus is COMMITMENT. This paradigm invites full presence to move through an experience or conflict to reach reconciliation. As this paradigm explores the negative and positive sides of an experience or perspective as it moves toward neutrality, one learns to be completely focused and committed to whichever pole is being explored in any given moment. "Playing your part" fully, even if that part is "negative" aids in comprehension and the ultimate reconciliation. Another core concept for this paradigm is MOTION. This paradigm only allows for movement toward a goal. So, one is always in motion toward something, often toward the understanding of reconciliation. When neutrality and comprehension are reached, there is new motion in a new direction. We could say that this is a paradigm that "covers a great deal of territory," but this would be relative, of course.

As this is unfamiliar information for our channel and new information, we will continue with your other questions and invite you to help us refine our delivery through our channel with your questions.

Kurtis:

Oh, this is wonderful new information for me to work with.

I relate to what you are saying in both answers.

I hypothesized the Quinary State as being about being beyond all expectations and knowledge, and that it is all-encompassing and able to process full agape in moments of the day.

I saw the Quinary as about TRANSCENDENCE in many ways, as well.

I can see how motion and follow-through on commitment to one's side helps in reconciliation. I find that for me at the moment, this probably shows up through 1. my effort to prioritize to reduce procrastination, and 2. my willingness to fully feel a feeling before I let it go.

It's like I can't ignore or dismiss it until I feel and process it.

Do go on, these are my thoughts so far.

Babylove/Michael:

3: Quaternary: 4/+consolidation/-achievement/scholar.

This paradigm brings a new and more refined emphasis on COMPREHENSION or UNDERSTANDING. This is where it begins to be understood that "it's not about what happens, but what you do with what happens". Or "it's not about what happens, but what you LEARN from what happens". And as we have shared previously, CHOICE begins to have much more conscious significance. As with the Quinary Paradigm, there is an experimental emphasis, but through more of a computational lens. In other words, in this paradigm, one "stands back" and observes the path of choices and their outcome as a kind of "home base" that is returned to often from the experience of immersion. This "standing back" lends objectivity and is the foundation for comprehension. "Dive into experience and choice" alternating with "stand back and process" is the way of this paradigm.

Kurtis:

Exactly where I am. That resonates a lot.

Sounds kind of like a video game.

We are closing off our time for today, so I will hold off on my personal life transitions questions of course, for another session with you. What you have shared today is very helpful.

Babylove/Michael:

4) Yes, it is entirely possible to be functioning in different paradigms in different contexts of the life.

We are losing focus through our channel and are having difficulty getting through our communications about the "domains" of life. But we can say that how you differentiate these domains is not so important, and there are many ways to "divide the pie," so to speak. One easy map would be that of the astrological signs/houses. So, in this case, there would be 12 domains. And using your own example, "self-perception" would correlate with the sign of Aries and 1st House experience while "relationships" would correlate with the sign of Libra and the 7th House.

We will complete here for today, Kurtis. Good day to you, and goodbye for now.

Kurtis: That helps. I will look at that. And thank you!
