More on Parrot Working Group and a storyteller past life

From a session on 03 June 2025

Me:

Hello Michael & Troy!

Question: You identified me as part of the Parrot working group in pod 1, configuration 5. What is the groups theme and my role in it? Is it active? Are any members local to me that I currently know or may cross paths with or are identifiable as"famous", historical figures etc?

Would be interesting to get an understanding for my own reflection on how the themes might manifest and resonate in my current life. I find the whole topic fascinating! Please cover as much as you're able within the time available.

MEntity:

The Parrot Working Group focuses on preserving and reinventing and continuing the power of communication and adaptation, particularly echoing, amplifying, and carrying messages, often through storytelling, in ways that might resonate across boundaries. They focus on how expression, itself, can heal, reveal, and transform.

In many lifetimes, Parrot members are poets, translators, musicians, teachers, storytellers, etc, but even more subtly they can be excellent at mimicking and adapting to contexts that are difficult for others to navigate.

It appears you are in position 12 and your specialty is in mirroring the needs and voices around you, showing others themselves so they can better understand and heal, holding a mirror up to reveal what is being said and what is not.

Working Groups are rarely active in literal, day-to-day coordination, often only activating during eras where they are necessary. However, because Parrots so strongly align with communication, expression, and healing, it is very likely that many from the group do carry these themes in current lives.

Question:

Fascinating! Is there anything else to say that's useful to know?

Is my leaning towards writing part of this?

MEntity: We found a lifetime where Parrot was active for you in the late 17th Century in Southern Spain. It seems your Essence was born in a time of cultural exchange, shifting powers, and fragile truths, with the region still marked by lingering influences of Islamic culture, Catholic authority, and the emerging Age of Enlightenment. "You" were a woman from a family of traveling merchants, a family known for bringing textiles, spices, and stories across the Mediterranean. It seems your father was a weaver, but you became known not for your craft, but for your ability to tell the stories of what you carried. We see that you spoke three languages, Arabic, Castilian Spanish, and a regional dialect. Your words help weave bridges between communities that often did not trust one another at the time. Your own home was a meeting place for scholars and travelers, hosting conversations that blurred the boundaries of class, religion, and culture.

Me: Wow, this is really interesting and I can see the relevance to aspects of me now

MEntity: Your leaning toward writing comes from multiple elements of your being, but aligns nicely with your Working Group.

Me: It certainly does!

MEntity: We must conclude here for today. Good day to you. Goodbye, for now.
