Karmic Theme of Abandonment

From a Private Session 6/5/2024

Daniela:

For over a year now, I have had muscle aches and weakness in my left arm that are not debilitating but worrisome and distracting. Sometimes the ache is in my forearm, sometimes in my bicep. It feels like my left arm needs a massage and a good stretch. Often the arm feels just fine, but then the ache will come back strong when I spend too much time at the computer, which is just about every day. My right arm has no issue at all.

What is the metaphysical component of this condition for me and what can I do to heal it?

MEntity:

We can only suggest this, as we do not have detailed records of your sleep, but positioning during sleep may be a factor. Beyond this, in terms of a more metaphysical context, the overall contributing factor would be emotional or mental conflict related to work and personal responsibilities. This is related to feeling overwhelmed, inadequate, and generally feeling performance is diminished.

There is a need for balance between inner care and outer care.

The feeling that you may need a good massage or stretch may reflect insight into needing more flexibility, a move away from rigidity and solidity in response or reaction to something or someone.

Daniela: Is there some symbolism about it being my left arm rather than my right arm? Or am I reading too much woo-woo into it?

MEntity: No, there is no "woo woo" here. The body is a map of many layers of self that can be read and understood. In this case, the aching on the left would related to receptivity and inner emotional landscapes. This would indicate internal conflicts and emotional issues that need to be addressed, and/or a rejection or resistance to receiving kindness, nurturing, and care from others.

Daniela:

Thank you. I'll move on to my next question: My Karma.

I recently reread the workshop on Karma that you presented through Troy in 2010. I wanted to get the assessment that you gave to each student who attended the workshop.

What is my pattern of Self-Karmic exploration?

What percentage of Major or Minor Karma have I burned in this lifetime?

What percentage of Self-Karma have I burned?

MEntity: ABANDONMENT

Daniela: Yeah, that hits hard.

MEntity: You have burned 94% of Major and Minor Karma, and have resolved 82% of Self-Karma.

Daniela: Can you describe the range of what Abandonment means for me here and how it shows up for me?

MEntity: Abandonment Karma moves into prompts for Self-Karma that show up as over-obligation, over-extending, over-promising, resentment, grief, and resignation that must be reconciled.

**********************************

The Abandonment Karmic theme is spot on. One of the surest ways for me to cry is to hear stories about abandoned children and animals. It rips my heart apart. I also immediately thought of a session from Janet H -- one of her past lives was Sien, a woman who lived with and had a relationship with Van Gogh. She left one of her children with strangers because she couldn't stand to watch the child die and this created a ribbon of Abandonment.

I remember this session really affected me at the time. I was so sad, for days. During this time I was describing this session to my husband over lunch in a restaurant and I just started bawling right there at the table.

This session on June 5 was to try to knock out random questions on my list, but now I see that the Left Arm issue and the Abandonment Karma go together. Funny how that happens!
