0616 Platform 2014

Sorry I had to miss the platform party for a family beach weekend (although I had a great time talking to my mom while Morgan and her friends enjoyed the sun). I got mine at yesterday's POF. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that my follow up question tied in so well. I doubted the platform would take the full 30 min, but I didn't want to throw in a question requiring the Akashic in what might be only 5­10 minutes left.

The part about Essence being up for "resolution, sanctuary, intimacy, and empathy" does hit home. I haven't felt like I have a sanctuary or in person support in a while (I live with a teenager), and I haven't felt for a while like I receive much empathy in my daily life. I struggle with invisible painful conditions, and while most of the time I can do anything I want, I do have to pay attention to my body's cues. And there are flareup days that are really awful. It's very difficult when you look "fine" to other people, as quickly ANY mention of it seems to people around you like you're whining, complaining, or just don't want to do something. Some of the people closest to me (hello, teenager....) are not empathetic about it. Chronic pain patients frequently hide their pain, only mentioning it when needed to give information to people you're with when you have to leave, stop, rest, not go, etc. but that all can just get interpreted as annoying whining or just trying to get your way after a while. Having an actual painful injury (I broke my shoulder in April) has brought that home to me as I see how differently I am treated by some with a "real" injury as opposed to my normal pain (not that the teenager has changed her ways much!).

As I was prepping for the session, I decided to list keywords for the Platforms I've gotten in past years to see if I could see a larger theme. Let's see, reinvent, then apply it strategically, recalibrating as you go, and eventually reunite. LOL.

MARTHA: Hi Michael, I'd like to get my Platform for this year.

MICHAEL:

Hello, Martha. We see your Platform as being best described by the term REUNION.

As your Platform unfolds over this cycle, it would mean that Essence is looking for a return of contact with those fragments whom you have not seen in a while, have become estranged from, have left with unresolved business, as well as attracting in "new" fragments with whom you have a history from beyond this life.

The Insight here is that Essence is up for some experiences in resolution, sanctuary, intimacy, and empathy that have been held at bay for some time. It is not that these qualities are not a part of the life, but that they have not had emphasis.

MARTHA: All that sounds very appealing to me

MICHAEL: The Pattern over this cycle will likely come in 3 month waves. This pattern will either be a cycle of layers so that each 3 months is a move through 1) clearing, 2) opening, and 3) confirmation, or it may come as 3 months of clearing, 3 months of opening, 3 months of confirmation.

MARTHA: that's funny, my follow up question was about the past six months that seemed like clearing, very unpleasantly

MARTHA: or six months that has led to clearing, I mean

MICHAEL: To clarify ­ one month of clearing, one month of opening, one month of confirmation, break, then repeat, OR 3 months of clearing, break, 3 months of opening, break, 3 months of confirmation, break..

MARTHA: I get it

MARTHA: the breaks are important, I haven't felt like I've had one in a while

MICHAEL: A helpful phrase over this cycle might be: I ASKED FOR THIS.

MARTHA: LOL

MICHAEL: This is not a phrase to be used as a kind of reprimand or blame, but as a means to own what is meaningful from whatever it is you experience. Sometimes the more meaningful elements of an experience can be wrapped in ways that are unappealing or unpleasant, but there can always be found something that contributes to what one has been seeking.

MARTHA: yes, I see that

MICHAEL: As for your follow up question, that would make sense that you have begun the clearing stages.

MARTHA: the past months have been kinda horrible at times

MICHAEL: We think you may be in the 3 months cycle then, so that July is a "break" and August begins the OPENING part of the cycle.

MARTHA: It feels like I am clearing out painful dust bunnies. I know, hello 6th level, but I hope this has been useful because it sure hasn’t been fun.

MICHAEL: We may be off by a month, depending on your start, so it may be August as a break, with September as your Opening.
