Chakra Check Up

Michael Teachings Workshop – August 5, 2023

TROY: I have invited Michael to share with us what they can about how to self-diagnose or self-assess the health of our own chakras, but also to give each of you individual feedback and assessments.

+++

MEntity:

Hello to each of you. We are here, now. We can begin.

Today we will explore the concept of Chakras and take a look at each of your systems to help each of you assess the state of your own chakras.

What we plan to examine and help you assess are three key factors that affect the flow of your energy:

1. which Chakra carries the weight of your greatest wounding

2. which Chakra is most rejected or neglected

3. which Chakra is your most stable and healthiest

There are 7 Primary Chakras that have come to be known as the standard set of energy vortices that link your Physical existence to your non-Physical existence. There are a multitude of chakras in a body, but we will focus on the Primary Chakras today.

Keep in mind that while the Centers correlate fairly nicely with Chakras, these terms refer to two separate systems.

When we speak of Centering, we are speaking of your Center of Gravity. The Chakra associated with your Primary Center can bring more insight into the Center associated with it, but they are not interchangeable terms.

For example, someone may be Emotionally-Centered, but the Sacral Chakra is the hub of their energy system for the body.

Chakra systems are unique to each body and each lifetime.

The Root Chakra is the only Chakra that retains consistency of presence across all lifetimes. When the body dies, the Chakra system collapses or retracts into the Root Chakra/Disc and the Root Chakra distributes all that was stored in the other Chakras to parts of itself.

Imagine the Root Chakra as having various pie wedges associated with the other Chakras. The experiences gained where the Crown Chakra was involved are stored in the Crown Chakra "section" of the Root Chakra, and so on.

When you are born, your Root Disc/Chakra is "inserted" into the new body and this immediately begins a "sprouting" process.

The Chakras for this new body are formed anew from the carried over Root Chakra.

This means that every lifetime "grows" its own Chakra system that is unique to that lifetime, but because the Root Chakra carries over all that has been experienced before, it becomes a kind of Akashic Records for the new Personality. This is how innate wisdom, talents, "gifts," and intuitive maturity are accessed. In other words, the Root Chakra of an older soul will activate with access to a deep history of knowledge and experience that a younger soul will not carry, yet.

Though we do not intend to go too far off on a tangent, we do think it may be of interest to you that while we are describing the Root Chakra as being similar to a disc that is extracted from one lifetime and then inserted into another lifetime, it is more like a COPY is carried forward. This is how Concurrents and Past Lives can have their own systems and remain with them indefinitely while the copies continue forward.

Each copy retains a powerful resonance and link to each copy, and this helps string together the thousands upon thousands of various lifetimes one may have across time, both horizontally and vertically.

For today, we are only looking at you and your system.

We will begin our exploration with you now:

ROOT CHAKRA

We know that our students are likely well-versed in the Chakra system and the correlative qualities and characteristics of each. We will only briefly mention these details for each Chakra unless questioned further for clarification.

This is always at the base of the spine. It carries all of the fuel and fertilization that one might need to grow a new set of Chakras within a new body.

The Root Chakra is where ones energy is processing its sense of safety, security, and stability.

When one's Root is balanced, there is a sense of grounding, confidence, and capability for meeting the responsibilities and demands of a lifetime.

SELF-ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS: we will pose a set of questions for each of you to answer for yourselves. These answers do not have to be shared, but we suggest writing or typing your responses so that you have a reference for when we give our own assessments.

ROOT CHAKRA ASSESSMENT: There are many parts of the life that can reveal if the Root Chakra is imbalanced, but for the older soul, this can be a bit more complex. The usual concerns for the Root Chakra tend to relate to ones relationship with sustaining stability, material concerns, managing resources, and survival. But for the older soul, many of the concerns for stability and resources are not about material things. In fact, many older souls actively reject the concern for material things and while the struggle to survive may not be pleasant, they have other priorities.

Questions for the older soul when assessing the health of the Root Chakra are more along the lines of:

DO YOU FEAR OR WORRY OFTEN ABOUT THE FUTURE?

DO YOU STRUGGLE WITH SHARING, GIVING, RECEIVING?

DO YOU FIND IT CHALLENGING TO SUSTAIN LONG-LASTING RELATIONSHIPS OR TRUST OTHERS?

These are the questions that are meaningful to our students and the older souls in terms of the ROOTS in life.

(reminder: you need not answer these here; we will return to them later).

The questions above speak to the evolution that comes with growing older in soul age. While the demands of a physical life can be the same across all lifetimes, the priorities for what is considered the roots of a lifetime change. In other words, it may be challenging and distracting to constantly worry about food and shelter and safety for the older soul, but most older souls feel mostly the pain of isolation from these.

So while the struggles of the Physical Plane may be as ancient as yourself, the older soul may find that what is most painful about survival mode is the isolation.

The more isolated one feels, the more likely the Root Chakra is imbalanced.

Moving forward, we will not focus on differentiating between the average Chakras and the older soul's Chakras. We will focus the older soul Chakras.

SACRAL CHAKRA ASSESSMENT:

Andreas: These differences would probably make a good topic in itself.

MEntity:

This Chakra is located in the region of the genitals and manages creativity, sensual existence, and identity.

The older soul's Sacral Chakra is about how one shows up in the world as a force of nature.

By this we mean that each of you are forces of nature because you are in bodies that are created from nature. You each carry the force of nature in forms of creativity, sensual orientation, and how you wish to be seen in the world.

It is not a misspelling that we said "sensual orientation."

What we mean is that each of you have an inclination toward that which most fulfills your preferred senses.

While sex is inherently a part of the Sacral Chakra, it is no longer the medium through which the older souls finds or anchors their identity. Regardless of one's sexuality, the older soul finds this to be only a PART of who one is, and not defining who one is. Instead, it is the sensuality, the ability to take pleasure in as much as possible, that matters.

SACRAL QUESTIONS:

DO YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO ENJOY WHAT YOU ENJOY?

DO YOU AVOID OTHERS OR AVOID EXPERIENCES THAT MAY REQUIRE YOUR CREATIVITY and PRESENCE?

DO YOU ALLOW OTHERS TO KNOW YOU AND TO BE CLOSE TO YOU?

SOLAR PLEXUS ASSESSMENT:

The Solar Plexus Chakra is around the navel region and this is where one's self-esteem, power, and willingness are managed. For the older souls, this is the Chakra that is all about how one makes decisions.

We differentiate DECISIONS from CHOICES here. Decisions are the minor choices that lead to major choices where, then, a CHOICE would be made.

The more one avoids decisions, the less likely that this Chakra is balanced.

The degree to which one makes a confident decision is the degree to which this Chakra is balanced. We are not speaking of over-confidence and audacity. We are speaking of decisions from the simplest moments to the more complex. For example, what to have for dinner, whether to go out or stay in, whether to buy this toothpaste or that one, whether you will follow through or bail, etc.

SOLAR PLEXUS QUESTIONS:

DO YOU DOUBT YOURSELF MORE THAN YOU TRUST YOURSELF?

ARE YOU ABLE TO SAY NO OR YES WITH AUTHENTICITY?

ARE YOU ABLE TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELF OR STAND FOR A CAUSE?

HEART CHAKRA ASSESSMENT: The Heart Chakra is located in the region of the chest near the literal heart. This is the Chakra that regulates the energy and experiences related to bonding internally and externally.

For the older soul, this is not just about connections and dramatic love, but about resonance and quiet acceptance.

The older soul will gladly embrace connections and use the term "connections" freely, but what they seek is resonance. A Connection is two points at a distance with something connecting them. Resonance is something shared between you but with no distance. We will clarify that by "distance" we are not speaking of geographical locations. We are speaking of those states of mind and heart that keep one from allowing resonance, feeling close, sharing true intimacy.

For most older souls, the greatest obstacle to resonance is themselves.

Older souls will gladly call out a connection, but will often stop there because physical, emotional, or intellectual distance are too much to consider.

Many in your little community share connections, but few share true resonance.

HEART QUESTIONS:

DO YOU PRIORITIZE PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM BEING HURT AGAIN?

DO YOU AVOID CLOSENESS WITH OTHERS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT WANT TO TAKE ON THEIR TROUBLES?

(or burden them with your own)

DO YOU OFTEN WONDER OR WORRY ABOUT WHY YOU ARE SO DIFFERENT FROM EVERYONE AROUND YOU?

THROAT CHAKRA ASSESSMENT: The Throat Chakra is in the region of the throat near the voice box and regulates one's communication, self-expression, and relationship with the truth.

Self-expression is different from the expression we described for the Sacral Chakra. Self-expression is more fluid and dependent upon circumstances and moods and truths and with whom one is communicating. The expression we mentioned with the Sacral Chakra is related to one's identity and how one shows up in the world overall.

The Throat Chakra is where one works out what is true, what is authentic, and what is real about oneself in the moment.

The older soul knows that one's identity is not altered by any changes in how one expresses oneself in various circumstances.

For example, if you are naturally loud, full of laughter, and quite bold in sharing your opinions, it will not feel like a violation to be quiet, considerate, and be willing to listen when the circumstances call for it.

The Throat Chakra is where one works out what is true, what is authentic, and what is real about oneself in the moment.

The older soul knows that one's identity is not altered by any changes in how one expresses oneself in various circumstances.

But if the Throat Chakra is imbalanced, any alterations to how one expresses oneself may be felt as a violation.

This is often seen in younger souls who are "just telling it like it is," or "just stating my opinion" or "just being honest."

Older souls can do the same, but it is less often.

THROAT QUESTIONS:

DO YOU OFTEN FEEL MISUNDERSTOOD, NOT SEEN, NOT HEARD?

DO YOU THINK THAT "BEING YOURSELF" IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN BEING CONSIDERATE?

DO YOU AVOID THE TRUTH AS A WAY TO CONTINUE "BEING YOURSELF"?

BROW CHAKRA ASSESSMENT: The Brow Chakra is located in the region of the forehead and regulates one's capacity for intuition, insight, and visions/ideals.

The older soul tends to prioritize the well-being of this chakra.

A lifetime without vision and ideals is a lifetime without meaning to the older soul.

The Brow Chakra, then, could be said to be where one determines the meaning of life, the meaning of one's existence, and the meaning of one's relationships, internally and externally.

This is because the Brow Chakra is all about synthesizing that which comes as experience and looking for or creating patterns that reveal insight, wisdom, intuition, etc.

BROW QUESTIONS:

DO YOU THINK THAT LIFE SUCKS AND THEN YOU DIE?

DO YOU FIND YOURSELF HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING, DREAMING, OR FEELING RESTED?

DO YOU STRUGGLE WITH FINDING OR CREATING MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES FROM EXISTENCE?

CROWN CHAKRA ASSESSMENT: The Crown Chakra is located in the region just above the top of your skull. It is not within the body, but just above the body. It is the Chakra that regulates one's relationship to, and understanding of existence, the cosmos, and anything greater than the self.

This means that the older soul is not just looking at the more metaphysical and magical realms of existence as that which is "greater than the self," but also looking at the relationship to the physical plane and the forces of nature and one's impact on the world as a force of nature, yourself.

Many of our older soul students avoid the questions of their own impact on the world as a force of nature. They often turn their attention to the unseen and "spiritual" as a source for their answers about the nature of existence and the validity of consciousness as a persistent force.

This distraction comes from the imprinting from the younger soul world that has nearly all fragments living in a state that is all about escaping or conquering the physical plane.

Many students simply want to escape. Many take on the struggle to conquer.

But the Crown Chakra is never balanced by these attempts.

Instead, the older soul would benefit most from being a PART of nature rather than APART from nature.

This means being a part of a force greater than oneself, but contributing to that force by owning the responsibilities that come with your own force of nature.

CROWN QUESTIONS:

DO YOU FEEL THAT LIFE IS NOT WORTH LIVING IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PURPOSE?

DO YOU MEASURE THE VALUE AND MEANING OF YOUR LIFE BY RECOGNIZED ACCOMPLISHMENTS?

DO YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED AND/OR DO YOU AVOID CONSIDERING ACTIONS, THOUGHTS, and FEELINGS THAT MAY HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD BEYOND YOU?

FINAL ASSESSMENTS:

What we would suggest is that each of you consider all of the questions above for your own assessments and for checking in with yourselves over time to consider how your Chakras may be functioning.

For now, we are going to share with each of you our own assessments of the health of your Chakras.

We will say that while one can assess the health of one's chakras quite accurately, it can be helpful to have external assessments. This is true of any concern for health. One can FEEL that one is healthy and draw that conclusion from self-assessment, but having insights from a doctor can help confirm this or help avoid or treat underlying or unknown issues.

WE WILL BEGIN:

For each of you, we will state your name and then list your Energy Hub Chakra, Energy Drain Chakra, and Rejected Chakra.

UMA = Energy Hub/SOLAR PLEXUS; Energy Drain/SACRAL; REJECTED/none

ANDREAS = Energy Hub/HEART; Energy Drain/SOLAR PLEXUS; Rejected/none

BECCA = Energy Hub/SACRAL; Energy Drain/HEART; Rejected/none

CARY = Energy Hub/SACRAL; Energy Drain/CROWN; Rejected/BROW

DANIELA = Energy Hub/HEART; Energy Drain/CROWN; Rejected/SACRAL

JANET = Energy Hub/SACRAL; Energy Drain/CROWN; Rejected/none

JEROEN = Energy Hub/CROWN; Energy Drain/BROW; Rejected/SOLAR PLEXUS

MAUREEN = Energy Hub/HEART; Energy Drain/SACRAL; Rejected/BROW

Uma: Please include Meg. She had to leave early.

MEG = Energy Hub/SOLAR PLEXUS; Energy Drain/BROW; Rejected/none

****************

Before we take your questions:

We will clarify here that the ENERGY HUB is the the healthiest and most-balanced of your chakras on a regular basis and therefore helps to regulate the flow of energy throughout the chakra system. This does not mean that you do not have challenges in that area or that it is a favorite of your chakras. It simply means that you have somehow managed to keep that particular chakra in a healthy state to help manage the rest of your chakras.

We will clarify that the ENERGY DRAIN is not always obvious, but it is considered a drain because attention is drawn to all elements related to this Chakra more often than others. This chakra carries a wound from this lifetime and/or from another lifetime that prompts a great deal of energy to be focused on that healing.

We will clarify that the REJECTED Chakra relates to that which keeps coming back into focus despite one trying to ignore or avoid it, OR one is preoccupied with elements related to that chakra and find that they are fascinating, compelling, and even addictive.

***QUEUE IS NOW OPEN*** (use three asterisks to get in the queue ***)

BeccaTheStudent: So my Core Wounding sits in my stomach, but the Heart is the Drain. Can I ask howthat works, and how I can better recognize that? For others, as well, whose self-assessments may have been off

MEntity:

There are only so many words in a language and we have to clarify various contexts for the same word. "Wounding" is a word that we use in many different ways in different contexts. Core Wounding is something usually from the current lifetime and it is "carried" in some part of the body.

The wounding we speak of in the context of the Chakras is a wounding that is either carried into this life from another, and/or triggered by wounding in the current life. So your Core Wounding may be triggering wounding in the Heart but they are different.

For purposes of clarity, we will assign CHAKRA WOUND vs CORE WOUND to help differentiate.

BeccaTheStudent: Ah, I see

MEntity:

Core Wounds WILL trigger Chakra Wounds, but the Core may be carried somewhere different from that Chakra.

NEXT, Maureen

Maureen: My question may be connected to Becca’s. You have told me that my Core Wounding is centered in my Pineal Gland. Is this part of the rejection of the Brow Chakra. Do I reject it to get some rest or take a break”, etc.? Is rejection of a chakra healthy in any way?

MEntity:

Rejection of a Chakra tends to come when that particular chakra requires a great deal of attention and care that can be overwhelming and demanding OR when that particular chakra has little to no presence in the life and it becomes a fascination or obsession to fuel it.

In your case, this is a chakra that is prominent in many lifetimes as a hub, but you wanted a break from it in this lifetime. By setting up a life with a break from that as your hub, it is a struggle for it to find rest. Instead, you focused on the Heart this lifetime. No grand visions, no compelling march forward with empowered inspiration, no worries about greater meaning and deeper meaning, etc. You simply wanted to bond, to create bonds, to create a network of love.

Maureen: Ahhhh!

MEntity:

But that chakra could be said to be an old habit that is difficult to break.

To help remedy a rejected chakra, it can be helpful to look at what that chakra represents as most important for it to regulate. In this case, MEANING. It can be helpful to let meaning be as simple as it is and to allow that to be ok. In other words, "the meaning of this life is just to know those whom I love; this is enough."

Maureen: That is beautiful <3

MEntity:

To truly address rejected or draining Chakras would require more direct and focused conversation with our students, but a simple sense of awareness can be a start.

NEXT, Uma

Uma: If the Root Chakra carries all the woundings of all the Chakras from every lifetime, isn't that a lot of wounding to carry into each lifetime? How does one heal that wounding?

MEntity:

We will conclude with Janet.

The Root Chakra carries the wounding, but by the time the new lifetime is created, all of the wounding from other lives has been sorted and stored. It does not get activated unless it is activated by something in the current lifetime. When that wounding is activated, it launches into the Chakra relative to where it was originally stored in the correlating compartment of the Root.

If the Root Chakra is not a hub, not a drain, and not rejected, then the wounding in that particular lifetime is limited to the wounding of that lifetime, even if it resonates with ancient wounding.

However, if the Root Chakra is the hub, or is drained, or is rejected, it can unleash a cascade of wounding throughout the Chakras and it can be quite a difficult life.

6th Levels of Soul Ages can do this.

NEXT, Janet

JanetE: I’m not aware of any sessions in which you have spoken about how to heal or clear any/all of the 7 chakras. Do you have methods for this that are significantly different from the information generally available from many healing, meditation, etc. sources? In other words, do you suggest this as a future topic for a group discussion? Or is this better discussed one on one with you because the methods will vary by individual?

MEntity: We would suggest a dedicated group discussion. We can share general suggestions and custom suggestions.

Maureen: Michael, before you close, could you give Troy's Energy Hub Chakra, Energy Drain Chakra, and Rejected Chakra

MEntity: TROY = Energy Hub/HEART; Energy Drain/CROWN; Rejected/ROOT - cascading wounding to the THROAT

Maureen: Thank you!!

MEntity: We will conclude here. Good day to each of you. As usual, we will always have more we can say about this subject and we are here if more individualized assessments are requested. Goodbye, for now.
